Description: This cabinet is another variation of the Geolithic style originally debuted by me in Directional Furniture in New York City in 1972. I revived this style of carving in the 90’s because of its infinite potential for cabinet fronts. The term “Geolithic Carving” was inspired by the action of water on rock over billions of years. The Volga II carving motif is a variation on one of the original designs called Volga I made for Directional in the 70’s. The cabinet is outfitted internally with four adjustable shelves.
