Description: This wall-hung cabinet with dovetail corner joinery was the original prototype for the deep-carved door front series that I debuted at Directional Furniture. My Geolithic Carving style is reminiscent of the action of water on rock over billions of years, and has been expanded upon and refined since the 90’s. Swahili refers to the particular carving motif. With interior fitments designed to meet the client’s specifications, Swahili I is supported by a concealed wooden cleat that is bolted to the wall.
