Description: A jewelry case made of laminated Mozambique for the Signature Gallery in Boston Mass to showcase their most valuable jewelry items. The case was electrified to support fairy lighting for the interior of the jewelry display cases as well as a burglar alarm. The design is an example of juxtaposing sinuous, curving lines (the pedestal) with starkly rectilinear ones ( the jewelry cases). This brings attention to the contrast and makes the sensuality of the pedestal even more dramatic.
