Description: This cabinet was a collaborative project with a client who wanted a traditional Art Nouveau piece in the French style. Although I do not do reproductions, I admire Art Nouveau and agreed to work within this framework if I had freedom to design something original with my own interpretations. This agreed, we chose elements from magazines which we both liked. From here I made my own interpretations subject to her approval. The cabinet functioned both for storage and as a desk with drop-down lid and interior light. It had four drawers, two compartments, and eight adjustable and non-adjustable shelves.
