Description: A commission designed to complement a U-shaped couch in a private home, the core of the table is the pedestal, laminated and carved from solid African Mozambique. It leans at a rakish angle, supported by a Plexiglas base, whose transparency enhances the impression that the pedestal is falling. A glass top allows the viewer to see the dynamics at play. The organic shape and flair is reminiscent of a large, aquatic creature cavorting in the water.
