Description: A dining table designed and built for the great room of an artist who uses the space for entertaining as well as to hang his massive, Abstract Expressionist paintings. The table breaks down into components: a single slab top and three truss-like pedestals plus connectors in the base. This knock down design provides structural strength as well as transportation convenience in a heavy, extended piece of furniture. Hidden bolts are used to fasten the components together.
