Date: Completed in 2018, made as a gift to the artist’s wife.
Description: A kitchen knife holder laminated and carved in solid Ziricote wood with built in slots custom sized to fit the user’s knives. The interweaving of the carving and the knife slots developed into a “tree” motif, thus the name.
